“And the God of grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”

Want to get involved with Project Restoration Ministry?

You can get involved with Project Restoration Ministry in the following ways:

1) Lead a "Dealing with Divorce" group - Do you have students in your youth group or in your community who are struggling with the aftermath of their parents' divorce? If so, consider hosting a "Dealing with Divorce" group in your area. Curriculum includes a participant and leader guide and the leader guide contains everything you need to successfully lead a group at your church, in your home, or at your local coffee shop. The most important factor is not location, but rather your passion and commitment. If you want to invest in the lives of youth and help them work through the issues resulting from their parents' divorce, then consider leading a DWD group today.

2) Mentor a youth - The "Dealing with Divorce" curriculum was originally designed for a small group atmosphere, however we have found it useful in a one-on-one format as well. If you know a student wrestling with their parents' divorce, consider journeying with them through the DWD curriculum.

3) Host a one-day "Dealing with Divorce" seminar - Interested in helping youth work through the tragedy of their parents' divorce, but not sure you can squeeze another weekly activity into your youth program? Consider hosting a one-day event. Elizabeth Oates is available to lead one-day seminars for youth that encompass the six chapters of the DWD curriculum.

4) Train your youth workers - Do your youth workers and volunteers feel ill-equipped to handle the stress that youth from divorced families face? Elizabeth Oates will help your youth workers better understand what youth from divorced families are experiencing. More importantly, your staff and volunteers will receive training on how they can help students journey through this difficult time in their lives.
